SLEEPER CABINS

Each sleeper carriage holds five bedrooms and each room holds four passengers. Like this and this. Two bottom bunks, two top. Each bed is fitted with sheets in team colours, and comes with a fluffy pillow.

The top bunks can be folded up in the daytime and the bottom bunks can be half folded up leaving the window half as benches. There is a table by the window with an Information and Communication Point panel. It is on a stand that swivels so it can be used by either bench. There are also power sockets, one by each bed. If characters have devices from home they sure don't look the right shape to fit their adaptors... and yet magically they do.

There are cubbies in the wall at the head of each bed, big enough for the belongings in your rucksacks. The ‘bench’ part of the bottom bunks lift up to have storage underneath, and indeed hold spare blankets when characters first arrive in case the sleeping bags found in their rucksack are not warm enough. Still it is a very tight squeeze.

At one end of each sleeper carriage there is a single toilet. At the other there is a larger bathroom with a shower. There are staircases at each end of the carriage to allow them onto the upper or lower levels.

Characters wake up in their bed every ‘morning’ no matter where they went to sleep, no matter if they don’t remember going to sleep. They will wake up to the morning announcement, but also to a wrapped candy falling onto their pillow from a panel in the wall.

The final double carriage of sleepers is a little different. These rooms are double rooms containing a double bed with a bench up above it that can be folded up and away. A little like this. There is a fold-down table near the window. Half the double bed can be lifted up to reveal storage space with extra blankets, and there are cubbies in the wall for personal belongings.

On the ICP in the corridor there is a section to apply for one of these sleepers. Applications must be made by two passengers together, both must be over the age of 16 and have been on the train for 3 IC Months (6 OOC Months). They don’t have to be a 'couple' as long as they don’t mind sharing a bed! Room changes will be made on platform days and if one of the characters drops the other will be shuffled back into general rooms.
