You've got a good summery of how Wei Wuxian presents himself to the world. However I'd like some more information on what is going on under the surface.
Can you talk more about why he gave up his golden core? What other self-sacrificing tendancies does he have? How has this gotten him into trouble and how does he feel about this trouble? Is there anything thing he won't do for others? What are his lines in the sand, as it were?
You talk about his use of resentful energy. How does this influence him as a person? What things does he regret? Is there anything he doesn't regret? Why not?
You mention protecting the innocent but almost as an example of that cited him murdering a clan. Which doesn't sound too protecty- was this to protect other from them? What other actions of protection has he done? Has he ever failed to protect anyone? How does he feel about that?
How does he strive to do better? What actions does he take and how does he feel about his second chance?

What would be ideal would be sample with someone other than Lan Wangji to show his personality around people he is not married to. However I understand the time constraints so a solo introspect-y piece would also suffice. Just to give some more under-the-surface thoughts as well as his actions.
