Character Shenanigans!

Sometimes things happen that may have consequences further down the line. Sometimes characters decide to do things that might have immidiate reprecussion. As mods we want to have our fingers on the pulse of the game as it were, but we are also aware that we won't be able to read every single thing!

So that's where this post comes in. If your character has done something 'noticable' that you think we might need to know about, throw us a link here. Some might require a response, some will just be noted.

Example: "Over *here* my character is trying to smash the windows of the engine!"

Sometimes you might have an idea in mind that you believe will have consequences and be in the midst of writing the thread, however you want to know what those consequences will be for threads going forward. Or you might still be in the planning stages and would like to know how things might pan out. That's also what this post is for!

Example: "At the end of this event my character is planning to not rejoin the train and instead ride off into the sunset! What happens?"

So, being a gem, Spinel has her musical expression ability that allows her to resonate with other gems on an emotional level. Spinel is going to take notice of the void singing, so sooner rather than later, she is going to learn the song and try singing it herself. Will this have any effect?

Regardless of the outcome, she’ll end up doing this because new song.

So Webmind's going to go about coding in a textchat program on the ICPs. Since his case is similar to SXT-2's in the sense that he can naturally interface with digital networks (per-canon, he can see the web as 'points and lines'; the ICP network, while much smaller than the world wide web, shouldn't be too different in this respect - though if I am wrong, please let me know!), would he be able to find any software space to hook such a program in?

... More to the point, would the train itself automatically know if such a thing pops up, if the Network allows for it in the first place? Or:

0. What does the ICP Network 'look' like, at least in terms of Webmind's web-sight?
1. Is there enough physical/memory space on the ICP Network for a textchat program to be started?
2. If Webmind cooks something up, would it last the day, or be purged/removed once the nightly reset hits?
3. If the answer to 1 is yes, would anyone else be able to use the chat program?

(A fun hypothetical-endgame would be a textchat program whose first users are Webmind, SXT-2, Spot, Bobo, and the train itself, but I know this to be a longshot and thus am not expecting it. |D)

In the interest of improving communication on the train, Dairine is investigating the ICPs. So far she's given them a thorough look over. Would there be anything of note she'll find from this rudimentary check, or should I just go off the ICP page?

She will also likely use Spot to scan the ICP soon, in order to check out its internal components and the system it uses. Would this work?

Rapunzel was tasked with painting 'Do Not Attack This Wall' in the place that people seem to do this (I assume close to where the driver/engine would be) She would have also added an angry face, but failed to make it at all scary and instead it just looks cute.

When they're jolted back to luggage, Kumoko will cast Long-Distance Teleport, which takes about ten seconds to cast and normally opens a magical gate to any location she's been to before, with the destination being the area she was just in on world #27462947582 (April 2020 event). What happens?

Just to note that Bryn brought a boar back to the train with her from the last mission! A couple of folks said their characters would be able to help with the butchering and prepping process, so there's gonna be at least one boar's worth of meat added to the train's food stocks.

Kaiba is adding Duel Monsters to the available games in the gaming car. He'll attach a handwritten explanation of the rules, guidelines for building a deck, and an offer for himself for Yugi to help any beginner duelists.

Within a week of the added cinema carriage, there will be permanent web hammocks added to the back of the theater. Out of the way of other viewers but perfect for lounging while watching movies.

With Peter's help, Tony is taking over a second quiet car by busting down the wall in between and building shelves, moving the table, etc. It'll be a little more of a work space and not quite so cramped now.

Also he's going to wash the glass wall and get curtains hung up instead. The new door will also get a lock.

This process could be noisy for a while too.

Tony has added a safety release switch to the freezer. He just knows Peter's getting locked in there at some point and wants there to be a way for him to get out.

And once they're back on the train, Tony's going to put a small bucket in the kitchen for egg shells. Calcium carbonate is useful!
