The floor in the cabins is made of two large panels - one from door to centre and one from centre to window. There is no obvious way to open them (handles etc) but it can be done by applying some leverage and brute strength to the seams. The one nearer the door will be easier as it doesn't have the table leg to contend with but it will be awkward and might need more than just him.- He can probably lever it to slide on top of the second panel somewhat but just lifting it up will be tricky because the beds, even when folded, are a hindrance. Of course he could cut a section out if he had the right equipment...
However if he manages to get under it he will see mostly what he expects to. Pipes that are likely for heating/water run length ways and a series of wires to various points (two lead towards the table, he can probably guess to power the ICP, others towards the walls).
