Application
Applications are currently closed!
This round is closed to previous voidtreckers only. That is any character that you have played in the Voidtrecker Express before. It doesn't matter if you had the character for a few days or played for years.
Because it is our last round there are a few exceptions to our usual app rules:
~ For this round you may go over the capp of 4 characters per person if you wish to and believe you can play them all through endgame.
~ For this round you may app more than one character at a time as long as you believe you can play them all through endgame.
~ Our usual rule on having 3 versions of any character has been lifted. You may re-app a character even if there are three of them in game. As long as it is a previous voidtrecker character they can be played- even if the character has since been apped by someone else.
When apping for this round it would be easiest for us for you to find your original app comment on this page and link it for us in a new comment!

Age: Their age or approximate. There is no limit on character ages.
World Information: What is the world in general like where your character hails from. A link to a wiki will suffice for this section! If your character has lived on more than one world (CRAUs etc) please give a brief description of these too.
Personal History: What has happened in your character's life. For OU characters or ‘official’ AU characters, a link to a well-written wiki will suffice. For CRAUs please continue past their canon point to give the history of your character in their previous game.
Personality: The biggie! What makes your character tick? Tell us all about what makes them who they are!
CRAU developments: Delete for non CRAUs. How did your character change; how have their attitudes shifted as a result of being a CRAU.
Key themes: What would you say are the main themes in your character's personal story (as opposed to their canon as a whole). Maximum of three but one is fine!
Main Motivation: The one thing that is most important to them.
Skills: Does your character have powers? List them here! Are they are a great fighter? That also goes here. Can they not fight for toffee but are the actual best at making pies? That goes here too!
Item: Characters can bring one item from home (must fit in their rucksack alongside the basic kit they are given) OR a pet/animal friend (no larger than a medium-sized dog).
Sample: Here is where you show us what you told us in your personality section! Linked threads are fine here. The sample needs to be for the version of the character you are sending here and older threads are fine. Writing an introspective piece or an IC diary entry or even a letter is also fine. As long as we get the feel of the character voice.

Almost there...
Motivation
You've told us what her motivation on the train will be, but what is her motivation before her life gets disrupted by void train adventures? You mentioned a heartbreak that made her start to believe her mothers teachings were wrong and that she used to be motivated by wanted people to like her but isn't any more. Does she have an aim in canon? Is there something she is trying to achieve?
Skills
As someone with fighting ability and also magic/potion making etc what is her 'default' if anything? When confronted with a problem is she likely to go straight for the sword or try and figure a way around things using magic and smarts?

She also saw that her friends were unhappy trying to please their parents. It was never going to happen. Their parents were always going to find them disappointing, lacking in any real villainous qualities.
Her aim in canon, beyond working hard to ignore her mothers teachings, is to help her friends find their happiness and their real selves. She knows that her friends from the Isle have been taught the wrong things, and that they want desperately to be good. So she's fully supportive of who they choose to be, now that they're all away from the influence of her friends terrible parents.
In a fight, she adapts. If it calls for a sword, she'll go for a sword. She once used chemicals in her friends beauty salon to create smoke-bombs, using that as a cover to rescue Mal's boyfriend, Ben. The situation that ensued absolutely called for her skills with a sword, and she happily rose to the occasion.
She doesn't hesitate when it comes to fighting to help keep her friends safe and alive, nor does she hesitate to use her knowledge in chemistry to create something of use.
All this to say, she doesn't seem to have a preference and instead tends to adapt to the situation and to help where she can with whatever skills are needed at the time.
