Character Shenanigans!

Sometimes things happen that may have consequences further down the line. Sometimes characters decide to do things that might have immidiate reprecussion. As mods we want to have our fingers on the pulse of the game as it were, but we are also aware that we won't be able to read every single thing!

So that's where this post comes in. If your character has done something 'noticable' that you think we might need to know about, throw us a link here. Some might require a response, some will just be noted.

Example: "Over *here* my character is trying to smash the windows of the engine!"

Sometimes you might have an idea in mind that you believe will have consequences and be in the midst of writing the thread, however you want to know what those consequences will be for threads going forward. Or you might still be in the planning stages and would like to know how things might pan out. That's also what this post is for!

Example: "At the end of this event my character is planning to not rejoin the train and instead ride off into the sunset! What happens?"

They will see mostly what he expects to. Pipes that are likely for heating/water run length ways and a series of wires to various points (two lead towards the table, they can probably guess to power the ICP, others towards the walls). There isn't any controls or switches under there, just the piping and wiring.

After Nita's return, the peridexis gives the train a break on the 2nd of Grasshopper, only to ask this the night of the 3rd:

What does it cost for you to take care of your Voidtreckers? Every spell has its price, as I well know, but what is the equivalent for you? What resources do you have to spend, to acquire regular supplies, new carriages, or to update the Safety Control Apparatus augmentation devices? And - are those resources finite?

There's a note of worry at the end there, rather than accusation - juuust a little note, though.

Since Tony's going to be bored over the mission week where most people are gone, is it possible for him to identify all the pipes under the panel in the floor of his cabin? (I.e., this is a pipe for water, that's a pipe for gas/ fuel, another one for whatever..).

He would be able to identify most of them. Water. fuel. Probably air. A bunch of wires- some power, some for the ICP. There are some unidentifiable pipes left.

After the period of silence, and after some of its own anger has waned, the peridexis contacts the train on its own again.

Along with a wave of [calm/reassurance/It's my fault I am sorry I could not stop her, I cannot apologize for her but I am sorry she hurt you], it extends the following offer:

I have elected to remove her status as a wizard with enacture until she has given you proper restitution. What that looks like, as well as however long it takes until she can be even considered to achieve it, is up to you. There is no rush; we can all afford to wait.

And then the peridexis resumes its own silence.

A few days after the platform post incident with Nita, Lea made some vegetable noodle soup for her. Since he made a whole pot of it, those checking the fridge or freezer might find a large tupperware-type container (one in each place), labeled 'Vegetable Soup' along with the date it was made. Anyone who wants some would be free to heat some up to eat; they'd find it tasty and pleasantly spicy.

As of this post, Dairine has set up a desktop computer in the Standard Carriage. It will be connected to the printer shortly.

Also in the process she checks over the power sources in the carriage. Would she find anything unusual?

As of Grasshopper Day 20 Rapunzel has painted pictures of those she knows onto the wall of her bunk in Sleeper 4 Cabin E.
