In a blink...
Welcome to the Voidtrecker Express
You find yourself standing on a station platform, in clothes not your own and holding a ticket with your name on it. Through the billowing steam, a train's whistling sounds, and around you are people just as confused as you, wearing colours of either Purple, Red, Orange or Blue.
Briefly, you spot a line of figures leave through a full height turnstile with vacant stares. Someone tries to follow them, but the bars don't budge to let them through. None of the leaving people respond to their cries.
More faces spill out from the train, and you're greeted by practised smiles, worn greetings and recycled explanations. They make these stops all the time, they say, and there's nowhere to go but with them. Staying behind when the train leaves means death - until you wake up the next day inside a suitcase on the train anyway.
Your life is now linked with the train for an indeterminable time. And the train needs heroes like you to save those in need throughout the void.

Traveling through the spaces in between, the gaps in the fabric of reality, the veil between worlds. This is the Voidtrecker Express, a mission-based panfandom game that allows AU and CRAUs, where heroes from every world imaginable find themselves plucked from their lives, their homes and on a platform at the edge of the void. Waiting for a train. A train that will take them where they are needed the most.
On arrival, your character is assigned to one of four teams — Red, Blue, Orange, and Purple — each with their own objectives come mission time. Nobody knows why this happens or how they're picked, but they're stuck together whether they like it or not.
Game time is 1 IC day : 2 OOC days. Missions take place over 2-3 weeks in 1 OOC month — the first half of 1 IC month — and have 3 logs: start - ongoing - finale. Players are encouraged to take on what they can, with ongoing considered optional for those looking for more to do.
Non-mission months are more relaxed with a single event, usually taking place on the train during the second half of an IC month. These offer a chance to further engage and develop CR, as well as to offer players and characters some downtime before the next big mission.
