Character Shenanigans!

Sometimes things happen that may have consequences further down the line. Sometimes characters decide to do things that might have immidiate reprecussion. As mods we want to have our fingers on the pulse of the game as it were, but we are also aware that we won't be able to read every single thing!

So that's where this post comes in. If your character has done something 'noticable' that you think we might need to know about, throw us a link here. Some might require a response, some will just be noted.

Example: "Over *here* my character is trying to smash the windows of the engine!"

Sometimes you might have an idea in mind that you believe will have consequences and be in the midst of writing the thread, however you want to know what those consequences will be for threads going forward. Or you might still be in the planning stages and would like to know how things might pan out. That's also what this post is for!

Example: "At the end of this event my character is planning to not rejoin the train and instead ride off into the sunset! What happens?"

Hi

So this platform at least is outside- hence the rain! It is not huge, but large enough to not be too crowded once everyone is off the train greeting people. There are walls all around it except for the tracks. At one of the long ends there are the barriers where those that dropped/idled disappeared through.

Nothing will be damaged by blasts (except other people and their belongings). He won't be able to get through the barriers, as if there is an invisible wall. If he tries to fly up he will realise after a bit that though he feels he is flying, he is not getting any higher- if he keeps trying to fly his SCA will start doing the danger beep.

...what happens if he ignores the danger beep?

Also, can he only get as high as, say, the walls surrounding the platform or is it higher? Does he feel any magical energy or any barrier when he tries to fly or is it just...he can't go higher but can't figure out why?

It beeps more insistently and he will start feeling like he really needs to fly down and board the train. If he keeps ignoring it/fighting it then he will find himself waking up in the luggage compartment on day two with the honour of being our first in game death.

It is a little higher than the walls, but the fog is too deep to see anything beyond them. He won't be able to figure out why he can't get higher but it doesn't feel like a barrier as such.

I mean.... that's tempting.... he's used to dying.... /bricked

Thus comes the question: does the same non-wall feeling happen when he tries to slip over the wall or something else? OH. Can he feel anything out there with his ki/does anything outside have life? (Has any of the Star Wars people asked this? I know there's nothing in the Void but are the stations....in the Void.... :|a)

Yes the same feeling happens if he tries to climb over the wall.

He won't feel anything with his ki, the only life he will feel will be from on the platform - the other passengers.
