Character Shenanigans!

Sometimes things happen that may have consequences further down the line. Sometimes characters decide to do things that might have immidiate reprecussion. As mods we want to have our fingers on the pulse of the game as it were, but we are also aware that we won't be able to read every single thing!

So that's where this post comes in. If your character has done something 'noticable' that you think we might need to know about, throw us a link here. Some might require a response, some will just be noted.

Example: "Over *here* my character is trying to smash the windows of the engine!"

Sometimes you might have an idea in mind that you believe will have consequences and be in the midst of writing the thread, however you want to know what those consequences will be for threads going forward. Or you might still be in the planning stages and would like to know how things might pan out. That's also what this post is for!

Example: "At the end of this event my character is planning to not rejoin the train and instead ride off into the sunset! What happens?"

So Yuffie is all Shenanigans and I thought it best to start now with ideas and consequences because I don't want to pull any punches as she gets in trouble. It's really the only way that Yuffie learns.

To start. She got orange team and she's going to do everything she can to avoid being identified as a member of the orange team. I don't know if that's possible. She's going to take off her watch until she can color the band another color (like black) and steal peoples things and trade them with her own (which I'm going to ask people about) but I wasn't sure if that was entirely possible. I had kinda decided that if she got red or orange that this would be her reaction since she always wears cool colors in canon.

Follow up. She's going to steal things from people and while I do want to work it out IC, I don't know if there is a way to have that come back and bite her in the ass but I get the feeling that's an ooc work out not a mod thing.

One thing that is totally a mod thing is that Yuffie is going to try really hard to open a window and as a new-ish player I have NO idea what will happen or if its even possible.

I do apologize for her in advance but hopefully I can mitigate some of her terror by being open on an ooc level. I'd like for her to get in trouble because that will help with character development since it usually takes a castmate to get Yuffie to stop.

Thank you again and I apologize for rambling. My thoughts are firmly set since she hasn't formally entered the game yet but I will keep everyone updated in her silliness.

Stealing other peoples clothes is fine as long as you chat to them ooc about it! Any consequences of that will come from the characters she is robbing off, I am sure! She is also able to remove the watch, though let me know if she is removing it whilst not on the train! On the train it is fine not to wear it. Colouring it should be possible depending on how she plans to do it.

Opening a window won't be possible. There aren't any catches or hinges or ways to open the windows. She can try and break it but will find that no matter how strong she is, how much she throws at it and whatever she tries they cannot be broken. Have fun trying Yuffie!

Awesome! And yes, I am definitely planning to be open with Yuffie since she is so ridiculous. I'm going to revamp her permissions with some extra stuff too once work stops trying to kill me. AND I AM SO EXCITED TO HAVE HER FIGHT A WINDOW AND LOSE!

She will likely take off her watch off the train so I will keep you posted as that becomes relevant. :D

Follow up questions. What if she sets things on fire on one of the trains (this may or may not be on accident).

Then there will be fire! There are fire extinguishers by the doors so it will hopefully be deal-able with but again please let me know if she actually sets things on fire on the train!

Just as a heads up. Yuffie is trying to make her own team here. I am so hoping someone stops her but I wanted to keep giving you a heads up.

Also nothing is on fire yet but that might happen because she's cooking with Edge.
