LIBRARY
This a double carriage. On the bottom floor there is a corridor running along one side, with a door to enter the carriage itself in the middle of the corridor. Up the stairs on either end of the carriage, the space is open, relatively.We will not OOCly be tracking books being checked in and out. If a book is not being returned, please reply to that book's comment to let people know that it isn't available.
Downstairs appears similar to a public library. The walls are painted brightly and lined with shelves, most of which are empty. Labels indicate that fiction books should be stored here. The wall facing the door is alternating windows looking out into the Void, and posters that seem to be large, blown-up book covers for the more popular fiction books in the train.
Four tables with linked chairs are spaced throughout the car, each one painted one of the team colours, and beanbag chairs similar to those found in the Games carriage can also be seen scattered in a pile in one corner.
A little wooden train with shelves built into it winds its way through the tables, its shelves filled with all of the previously-purchased Merry Little Void Train literature and the first book of several of the encountered but unpurchased MLVT series, including several colouring books. There's room on its shelves for far more than it currently contains. Kheli the rabbit is painted leaning out of the engine window, waving.
Along the far wall to the right are two scanning machines, which can do the following: register new books - as a helpful tutorial on the screen will inform you; provide summaries of books if given a specific title; or check books out if presented with a valid ticket. Passengers can have up to eight books checked out at a time; if someone walks out of the carriage carrying a book not checked out by them, the ICP speakers in that carriage will beep obnoxiously for ten seconds.
Upstairs resembles an academic library. The wall next to the stairs is a similar bank of windows as downstairs, although lacking the colourful posters, instead dotted with landscape paintings of previously visited worlds and unknown worlds both. Rows of shelves divide the space into six smaller workspaces, each with a single-person desk with lamp and bookstand and another window above, bracketed by shelves on either side. The bookshelves muffle sound, creating semi-private spaces around each desk.
The shelves are empty, with labels on each shelf indicating that non-fiction books belong up here.

Description: Is an activity magazine based on Merry Little Voidtrain. It has a short comic style adventure featuring the Train and Kheli. It has puzzles and colouring sheets and a suggestion for a craft to make your very own Kheli mask!
Merry Little Voidtrain (Books)
Description: This is an illustrated chapter book about a green and magenta train who travels through the void to make new friends. She is driven by a long eared rabbit by the name of Kheli. Kheli has a map to the best carrots in the multiverse. Her dream is to find them and be a hero among her people.
Her and the train go on a great adventure, making many friends along the way! It is simply written but entertaining.
A Small Problem
Description: sees Kheli and the train shrunk down and exploring a mushroom kingdom with the help of a motley team of tiny freedom fighters.
My First Merry Little Voidtrain Adventures
Description: is apparently for much younger children, given the bright, basic shapes of the cover and the reduced number of words per page. This, the third book, retells the first meeting of Kheli and the train, albeit very simply, and appears to be teaching readers to introduce themselves.
Merry Little Voidtrain and Friends: On The Rails Again
Description: is a relatively long book that introduces several recurring characters from the original series as an ensemble of passengers, and has more of an attempt at setting up an overarching plot involving Kheli's homeworld. It's unclear what that plot will turn out to be just from reading this first book, however.
Merry Little Voidtrain: Void of Adventure 14
Description: revisits key locations in the MLV canon, apparently by popular demand, but written for an older audience, using more of a teen vocabulary. This book revisits a location from MLV volume 542 (cited in a footnote), a bustling Void market world, and discusses the economy and fiscal responsibility, but not in those terms.
Merry Little Voidtrain Takes a Dive
Description: is an underwater adventure where Kheli and the train are seeking treasure amidst a coral reef on behalf of a pirate's great-great-great-great-great-granddaughter.
Merry Little Voidtrain: Void of Adventure 11
Description: Merry Little Voidtrain: Void of Adventure revisits key locations in the MLV canon, apparently by popular demand, but written for an older audience, using more of a teen vocabulary. This book (#11) takes Kheli and the Voidtrain to an oceanic world where they help a fisher family against a large fleet of fishing boats from a nearby city.
Merry Little Voidtrain: Void of Adventure 3
Description: Merry Little Voidtrain: Void of Adventure #3 is set in the void itself as Kehli tries make a decision of what world to go to next. It mostly focuses on day to day life on the train and explores themes of sole-travelling and keeping safe in voidspace.
Merry Little Voidtrain and Friends: Homecoming
Description: Kheli and her crew arrive at her homeworld. She is glad to see her family and friends again and it mostly deals with growing up and not quite fitting in the places you once did- Kheli has seen the multiverse so her old hometown seems rather small.
Merry Little Voidtrain: Void of Adventure 5
Description: An accident aboard the Voidtrain sets up an issue revolving around first aid and safety procedures.
Merry Little Voidtrain: Bark and Bite!
Description: Fresh from recent scrapes, Kheli is hot on the trail of the second-most delicious carrots in the multiverse, and this time her search leads the Merry Little Voidtrain into the bustling market world of Kane-1.
Merry Little Voidtrain: Inspection!
Description: Merry Little Voidtrain and Kheli have to go in for an inspection! Merry Little Voidtrain is a bit frightened but Kheli finds ways to cheer it up! They are both brave and afterwards treat themselves to cake.
